A small-group Milky Way photography workshop timed for the September new moon in southeastern Arizona. We’ll photograph the Milky Way in the Chiricahua and Dragoon Mountains, along with nearby dark-sky locations featuring dramatic Southwest foregrounds.

Instruction focuses on real-world field techniques, including composition, camera setup, Milky Way alignment, and efficient night-sky shooting. You’ll learn how to plan and execute images with intention, not guesswork, so you can repeat the process on your own.

Late-season monsoon conditions may also create opportunities for lightning or storm photography, depending on conditions.
Extend Your Workshop: Additional Night (September 13–14) $310.50 ($300.00 + $10.50 fee)
An additional guided night of photography focused on the Milky Way, with potential opportunities for late-season monsoon storms or lightning if conditions align. This session allows for extended shooting time, additional locations, and more in-field instruction. Limited availability.
